Kungfu Online Character Build Guide

I've promised to write about Kungfu Online Character Build Guide in my previous post. So, this is the character build guide taken from my personal experience with Kungfu Online Game.

In the world of Kungfu Online, there are seven class you can choose. These seven class can be separated into two main class : Internal type class and External type class. So I'll separate this character build guide into two main part.

There are six stat you can add each time you level up in Kungfu Online. They are Str (Strength), Stam (Stamina), Spi (Spirit), Stab (Stability), Prec (Precision), Agi (Agility). Adding some stat point into these stat, will add your character attributes : Str increase External Atk, Vit. Stam increase Vit, External Def, Chi. Spi increase Int Atk, Chi, Vit. Stab increase Internal Def, Vit. Prec increase Accuracy, Critical Rate, Casting Time. Agi increase Dodge and Atk Speed. And there's also some gems you can add to your gear to increase these stat too.

I. Internal type class character build guide
Most of internal type class character best build focused on Stability (Stab) attributes. Only Tien-Shan build is different, other class also have their own combination, but still the main attributes is Stab.

I.1. Wu-Tang Clan

Wu-Tang is an "all around" internal type class. Wu-Tang class have advantage in their highest Internal Atk, and high atk speed. A Wu-Tang character can kill creep (monster) very fast so they level up very fast too.
For a Wu-Tang I recommend to put attributes into Prec until you reach 250, Agi until 250, and the rest to Stab and Stam 2:1. Gem suitable for Wu-Tang is Stab, Prec, Agi, and Stam for Def Gear, and Int Atk, Element Atk, Accuracy and Critical for Atk Gear.
Wu-Tang weakness is against Ming-Cult because of high Int def and many reduce Int Atk spell.

I.2. O-Mei Clan

As a healer, O-mei usually focus on defense, but there's a chance to be battle O-mei too. Character build for O-Mei is basically the same with Wu-Tang. You can decrease some Agi (no Agi is fine too) and put the stat point into Stam and Stab 1:1. Gem is also the same with Wu-Tang except Agi gem. O-Mei also need Chi gem just to fight with other O-Mei so you won't run out of chi for healing.


I.3. Tien-Shan Clan

Tien-Shan main weapon is super fast Atk speed and very very high Dodge. So the tactics in building a Tien-Shan is to have Dodge as high as possible. Basically you will have to put all your stat into Agi. Forget defense as Tien-Shan will have to dodge not defending. Accuracy you can get from gear bonuses and Prec gem. So the main gem for Tien-Shan is Agi, Dodge, and Prec. ATK gem is basically the same for all internal type class.



I.4 Ming-Cult

Ming is Internal type that focus mainly on defense. So The main stat for Ming is Stab and Stam 1:1. You can add some prec but not over 250. The gem also focused on Stam, Stab, and Prec. Although seem so slow and low atk, but Ming is the strongest Internal type class in high level. Ming can beat Wu-Tang very easy and outperform O-Mei in defense. Tien-Shan will have some difficulty too as Ming usually have a very big Vitality.



II. External type class character build guide.
External type class character focused mainly on Stamina (Stam). External type class have much slower Atk speed than Internal type class. But their Atk is better than Internal type class.

II.1 Beggar Clan

Beggar is just like Wu-Tang but with External type. Much slower than Wu-Tang but much better in Atk and usually have more Vitality too. The main stat for beggar is Stam, Stab, Str. Prec and Agi until reach 250 each. There's two type of beggar, attacking type and defense type. Atttacking type beggar focus on Str and Stam. Good in low level buch not too strong in high level. Defense type beggar focus on Stam and Stab. Slower in low level but much stronger in high level. Beggar will need gem that increase Stam, Stab, Str, and Prec. for ATK gem, all external type class will need Ext Atk, Element Atk, Critical, and Accuracy Gem.

II.2. Tang Clan

Tang benefit most from Prec stat as each 1 prec gives 2.5 Critical rate and 2 Accuracy. So You will want to divide your stat point into Stamina, Stability, and Precision. You can add Str too but in high level it's not too usefull.





II.3. Shao-Lin Clan

Shao-lin is the defender (tanker) in KungFu Online. Have a very big HP and very big defense in both external and internal defense. In low level Shao-lin is not that good, but in high level, a shao-lin is very hard to beat. Shao-lin will focus their stat mainly on Stam and Stab (1:1). Also add Prec until 250.




This Kungfu Online Character Build Guide is very basic and general. You will have to combine yourself for best performance. There's is no best stat for each clan as the stat and gems will have to be adjusted according to which clan you'll fight. In the next post I will cover about the guide to win in Mt. Kungfu Online Game Guide

Kungfu Online is a game from Koramgame. This Kungfu Online game guide will reveal many things about Kungfu Online, from basic game info until deep walkthrough into mastering each class from Kungfu Online game.

First let me introduce a little about Kungfu Online. As I said earlier, Kungfu Online is a game made by Koramgame. This game at first was a facebook connected game, just like many other Koramgame games. But now, other than connected with your facebook account, you can also create user ID by using your e-mail. You can also bind your facebook account into Koramgame e-mail ID.

The background story of this Kungfu Online Game is chinese kungfu story. And the game itself is not too good in graphics as this game focused on text. Another unique feature in this game is that the game provide some kind of Bot that allows you to go AFK while leveling up or gathering resources. So this Kungfu Online Game is suitable for you guys who dont have much time to play game.

In the world of Kungfu Online, after you create account, select server, then you have to select which clans you want to play. There are 7 clans you can choose in Kungfu Online Game. Each clan have unique ability and speciality. This 7 clans divided into 2 main type which are internal type and external type. Internal type clans are Wu-Tang, Tien-Shan, Ming-Cult and O-Mei. while external type clans are Shao-Lin, Tang, and Beggars. Shao-Lin and Ming-Cult focust on Defense, Wu-Tang and Beggars have advantage on their attack, Tien-Shan is a clans that have very high attack speed, Tangs speciality is critical attack, and O-Mei is the only clan that can heal.

There are six character attributes that you can increase as you level up. They are

1. Strength (Str), which affects maximim Vitality and Ext Atk
2. Stamina (Stam) affects External Defense, Vitality, Blind Resistance, and Stun Resistance.
3. Spirit (Spr) affects maximum Chi, Internal Atk
4. Stability (Stab) affects Vitality, Internal Defense, Chi, Paralyze Resistance and Amnesia Resistance.
5. Precision (Prec) affects Accuracy, Enchanting Time, and Critical strike.
6. Agility (Agi) which affects Dodge, Slow Resistance, Attack Speed and Depression Resistance.
   

Which attributes is important ? Well, this differ for each clan, but External type clan usually pump on Stamina while Internal type clan pump on Stability. Precision is a very very important attributes for every clan and Agility is a very important attribute for Tien-Shan. I will give you more detail on Character build in my next post.

Other feature in Kungfu Online Game is similar to other MMORPG game. There are guild that you can join, warehouse to put items, gathering system, PVP, guild war, etc. I won't put it here as you can see it yourself in their official website.

Beside leveling up and leveling up and leveling up (which is boring after you reach high level), there are one more goal that you can reach in this game, It's to become the Mt. Hua Champions. Mt. Hua Swordsmanship Tournament is a cross server fight that allows you to fight other player in all server. The winner of this Mt. Hua Tournament will receive title, marvelous item, and of course some pride. I will cover the guide how to win Mt.Hua Tournament in my later post.

Nintendo Wii U - Next-Gen Console

This June 2011, Nintendo Wii officially introduced the Nintendo Wii U as their console. This console allows gamers to play their favorite game titles with a whole new way thanks to its innovative controller. As a sophisticated gaming device, Nintendo Wii U will be powered by top class processors from IBM. Nintendo Wii U, will use three core processors based on PowerPC architecture CPUs. The graphics card will have 512MB memory, with the GPU(Graphics Processing Unit) from ATI Radeon R700 that supports pixel shader 4.1.

I've already said that Nintendo Wii U strong point is it's new controller. This new controller is the star of Nintendo's presentation at the event E3 2011. The controller itself is equipped with two analog sticks to control the unique precision, a control pad and number buttons. Nintendo Wii U user will be able to play some mini games with a touch screen on the controller, which would also affect the progress of the game and new experience beyond our imagination. This device also include a microphone, small speakers, gyroscope and a camera that can capture players face and can be used in some games. The other feature of this new controller is it's capability to be used to browse the Internet and make phone calls.

Dragon Age Origins, RPG for Adults (Review and Downloads)

Dragon Age : Origins (DAO) is one of the so called "hi-class RPG". The game not only offer entertainment, but also a story that mixed by BioWare in beautiful Ferelden fantasy world, and also this game offers a wonderful memory that dangle over the deepening of interpersonal characteristics. This will determine the direction of the story and make DAO more than just a Fantasy Role Playing Games (RPG).

As offered in other RPGs, the player started his career by building a character that would eventually affect the gameplay. Currently there are three options to build character races : Human, Elf, and the Dwarf, then players have to choose the job of each class.

According to selected race, the game will move into the background of the story line according to the selected character. Later, all the stories merge into one by following a man named Duncan to become a Grey Warden, a group who dedicated his life to fighting the Blight, which is a group of invisible evil that devastated Ferelden world peace.

The core of Dragon Gate: Origins is the battle with the Blight, by recruiting members on every road stories into one group of Grey Warden then solves problems from one region to another. In each scenario of the story, players can find side quests, which make the stories more deep and interesting. Dragon Gate: Origins is not so interesting if you only follow the main quest.

For your information, all of the dialogue you choose will influence the way the story forward. In addition it also affects the other team members feeling. Sometimes in a mission, there is a quest that emerged from the talks. This Quest will automatically open a small plot, which culminate in a large scenario. If you choose to be polite, then the Non Player Character (NPC) will also be polite, on the contrary, if being rude in a conversation can eliminate the opportunity to open a new quest.

Gameplay, Graphics and Sound

For players who have been accustomed to playing games like Diablo, Baldur Gate, Mass Effect, Dugeon Siege or Never Winter Nights would not have difficulty in carrying out the characters. Game system offered here truly flexible and easy to manage. Players just need to adjust what needs to be done by another character (AI) and then immediately focus on other work. With WASD controls on the keyboard, players can move a character in 3rd person view. And if you feel bored, the view can be changed by scrolling the mouse over. With this, the game turn into click and hit run system.

Talking about graphics, Dragon Gate: Origins is relatively standard (the Bioware standard which seem so marvelous for newbie). With the sparkling reflections on a sword or armor, and the blood that was standard, the graphics of this game is not exactly a luxury for the current size. One of the advantages of Dragon Gate: Origins is charging a lot of incredible in every NPC. Every new person will speak in a different tone of voice.

The Dialogue You Should Really Look For

The core of Dragon Gate: Origins is conversations. For those who not used to play such an RPG game, must have been thinking 'Why is this game is full of chatting contents?'. This is true. And it is precisely the power of Dragon Age: Origins, compared to other similar genres. If we only after the item and battle, this game will seem boring. But when the dialogue followed carefully, an interesting story will be presented.

Sex In The Story.

Sex is one ingredient that make a game interesting. This also works with the DAO. When choosing the character as a man, that character can be directed to copulate with another female character, and vice versa. Apart from that the game seems to really carry gender equality. Because the funny thing is, there is also the option to 'play' with the same sex.

But, keep in mind, in order to 'play' with friends, strong interpersonal relationships should really be maintained. Until a certain level later when the 'target' truly open minded, then the 'hot scenes' can be executed. Please note that Dragon Gate: Origins is intended for adults. Do not give this game to children under the age of 18 years!

Conclusion :

Basically Dragon Age: Origins is the game that is designed for a Fantasy RPG gamers who are used to play these kind of game.

The moral of this game is not only just victorious against evil, like other similar games. Players will be given moral choices through dialogue that built both the NPC and other characters. This opens an alternative hidden in the game that ultimately will affect the storyline.

Pros:
- Development of an extraordinary storyline
- Dialogue is very varied
- 'Hot Scene' that make a fun adventure

Cons:
- Skill tree unattractive

Romance of The Three Kingdom XI PC English Version

After the successful of PC based Warriors Orochi, Koei seems to think that this is a good time to enter into the world of RTK XI (Romance of Three Kingdom) on PC. This is certainly good news for the fans in the PC RTK series. As you might know, the chinese and japanese version of this RTK XI PC is already released about two or three years ago. But last year Koei released the English version of RTK XI PC. For me, this was like a dream come true.

Just like the previous series, RTK XI PC version is a turn-based strategy game. In this RTK XI PC English version you can choose to play different warlord from different era. There's some improvement in the battle system especially in one on one combat between the generals. The AI seems to have become smarter a little bit, although if you know how to play they still seems dumb enough. I guarantee you'll be addicted once you have played this game.

The Sims, the Most popular game series in the world who loved by gamers of various ages come again in a new series..

The Sims series is the most popular game in the world today. Games that simulate life always appears in the list of world's 10 best games and so many Add-on and the release of the Expansion Set always sold out and go into the list of 10 best games! Therefore, the release of The Sims 3 is something that worth waiting for.

The secret behind the success of The Sims is a form of game that makes all the players are addicted. Basically, you will manage the life of a character called the Sims. Not all Traits benefit your Sims. You can choose properties that make Sims Kleptomaniac so your Sims will like to take the property of others. Or making it Clumsy. However, all these properties will provide a new nuance of every game session you start.

In addition, the combination will open Traits Wish Lifetime option to choose from such as achieving the highest career in the military and became a famous writer. Every wish and desire achieved will provide a point that can be exchanged a few bonuses that help the game. For Example, Fast Learner will accelerates the process of learning all the skills (eg cooking skills, sports, and music).

Every needs and wants you fulfill (for example, getting enough sleep and brushing teeth) will give a bonus Mood for Sims and affect all activities. Sims who are in high mood levels will achieve a higher success when doing work and socialize.

Another feature that distinguishes this game with previous Sims game is that the city can be visited in real time. Previously, you had to go through the loading process to move to the outside of your home. Now, all regions can be directly visited without loading. In fact, you can do jogging and cycling to the destination. This gives a new feel for the fans of previous Sims game. Unfortunately, this feature consume high PC memory and significant frame rate reduction will appear every time you're on way to the city.

Over all I think The Sims 3 will be a game worth waiting for and will make you addicted just like the previous series. I'll give you more detailed review after I played the game.. Hope this review could be helfull.

BattleStations Pacific

Pacific war that involve the U.S army and Japanese Army is pictured amazingly in this action game. Pacific war is one of the history that will not be forgotten by U.S people. This beacuse of the sudden attack by Japanese Army to the U.S military base in Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Because of this attack, U.S.A lost a lot of its army and so many people dead. This drama is well represented by Battlestation Midway Game, BattleStation Pacific.

In this game, you can follow the story of both side in war. You will control several type of war machine. Beside piloting, you can choose to be a commander in chief that act behind the screen. The air unit is divided into 2 type, bomber and hunter. Surface unit, every type of war machine have it's own unique characteristic. Basically, a Destroyer have the biggest war power because have biggest cannon. And a surveyor have high maneuverability

Although this game is quite interesting, but it seems that the developer make it half hearted. The biggest problem that make PC gamers won't be too convinience is about the use of keyboard and mouse when piloting a plane. You can shoot using a mouse but it's veru uncomfortable. This game is very suitable to be played using a media controller. In addition, You can also play together with your friends through multiplayer mode. Every type of game in multiplayer mode have a high difficulty rating. So You will enjoy play it again and again

F.E.A.R 2 : Project Origin - Alma Haunts Again

Gamers who like shooting game will definitely know FEAR, action game with horror inside through a little girl called Alma. In FEAR 2, the action is unmacthed and the horror will still frightens you. FEAR 2 can be told as FEAR 1 story explanation. In this game you will get more detailed explanation what has happened to this Alma girl, and why she become a ghost that haunts you. Luckily, the story is developed in a way so that if you don't play the first FEAR you can still understand and enjoy the whole story.

As a shooter game, FEAR 2 is full of explosion, action, and unique weapons. Enemy you face cannot be taken lightly too. The enemy can work together to attack you from all side. They can force you to come out with grenades and then the other enemy is ready to shoot you as you escape from the explosion. You can also find a very agile enemy so that you must ave a superb reflex to be able to shoot him. Luckily you can use an ability to slow down time. You can use this ability in a certain time (not too long after you use it, you will be able to use it again).

Another interesting feature is a robot war machine. This robot has an awesome attack power and protected by an invincible shield, but this robots have weakness against electricity, so you can use electromagnet grenade to defeat her. On the contrary, you can use this robots too to get through an enemy-populated area. The horror inside is nice too. Beside Alma, there's monsters which will shocks you from time to time. The environment is full of blood too and there's many violence in the game that make this game is rated Mature (for adult only).

There's multi player mode too with many features that make the game more interesting. This multi player thing made this game so enjoyable even if you play it over and over again. Overall, a nice shooting game with lots of features that can make you sit for hours playing this game.

Violence in game

Sadistic massacre in schools happens again and shock the world. The question is, why boys and teenagers often involved in it ? It's a difficult question to answer. But The trigger is suspected from "killer computer game". The shooter in Winnenden, German (happens this March) often play those violence game game like Counter strike.

From 1999 until now, several serious killing have happened. In April 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold kill 12 student and a teacher in Littleton. In 2002, a massacre in Erfurt shocks the word. Robert Steinhauser kills 17 people brutally and then kill himself. In 2007, 32 people dead and 30 people seriously wounded in a killing done by Cho Seung Hui in Virginia tech Blacksburg. And the latest killing is in March 2009 when Tim Kretschmer, a 17 year old boy obsessed with guns shoot 15 people and then kill himself.

Although many stores don't sell games that full of violence anymore, experts don't fully agree to the relation between violence in virtual world and violence in the real world. The pros and cons do some research on their own and the result shows both of them are right.

In common, parents don't see digital entertainment media as a media that gives bad influence. Research from Microsoft shows that three from four teacher think that video game can give some good experience for their student. Still from the research shows that two from three parents allow their children to play "adult" games.

Research on "violence in computer game" already done many times. There are several result about the research. Some says that boy gamers usually have a higher alcohol consumption level. But the other research says that people who are intensively play games don't have any relation at all to killing or violence in the real world. However, many agrees that violence in computer games need to be reduced. And also kids who looks easy to do violence need to have extra control.
